Ventana Fund offers more flexible rates and terms than traditional financial institutions.
Ventana Fund provides early-stage financing for pre-development and construction and financing for the acquisition and rehabilitation of small apartment communities. All loans are made for affordable housing in New Mexico to serve our target markets.

Threshold Loan
Ventana Fund’s threshold loans are available for new construction or acquisition/refinance with rehabilitation to finance total development costs of affordable housing projects, without a permanent, formal take-out required. Loans are available to traditional affordable housing developers or small property owners and developers who may not currently utilize low-income housing tax credits or affordable housing programs.
Construction Loan
Ventana Fund’s construction loans are available for new development projects. Financing is available for the total development costs of new construction or acquisition/rehabilitation affordable housing projects that have firm take-out financing. Loans are available to non-profits and for-profit affordable housing developers.
